How it all began
Today I realized that I have 5 blogs. I've written a lot, on many subjects, but I still need to write on one topic: the history of the Church of God (7th day) in Brazil that began more than 40 years ago, in 1979. The history of the Church in Brazil can be told in five moments: 1) The pioneers and the difficulties of the beginning; 2) The success of preaching centered on biblical knowledge, mainly on prophecies; 3) Church growth with centralized administration; 4) The decline of the church through the adoption of Jewish messianic practices. 5) The revival under the congregational system, with the local autonomy. That's what I'm going to write about on this blog. I hope that this record contributes to the formation of our identity as a Brazilian Church and that our experience, mistakes and successes, can help the Church of God present in other countries.
