A little history of the Church of God (7th day) in Brazil

I'm living in a very special time right now. As in the illustration of the eagle's renewal at age 40, I am in the process of renewal, a return to my life purpose. At the age of 16 I was baptized and I already knew that I would contribute to the work of God, I would be a preacher of the gospel. I felt in my heart that one day God would give me a special mission, a work to do, something that would contribute to the expansion of the Kingdom. Later, at the age of 21 and already graduated in Law, I went to the missionary training of the Church of God in Curitiba and there I was ordained missionary, elder, youth pastor and senior pastor of the fourth church of God (7th day) in Curitiba, in the neighborhood of Vila Hauer. I also held positions in the national leadership of the Church, as lawyer, treasurer, and administrative president.  Today I realized that I have 5 blogs. I've written a lot, on many subjects, but I still need to write on one topic: the history of the Church of God (7th day) in Brazil that began more than 40 years ago, in 1979.  The history of the Church in Brazil can be told in five moments: 1) The pioneers and the difficulties of the beginning; 2) The success of preaching centered on biblical knowledge, mainly on prophecies; 3) Church growth with centralized administration; 4) The decline of the church through the adoption of Jewish messianic practices. 5) The revival under the congregational system, with the local autonomy. That's what I'm going to write about on this blog. I hope that this record contributes to the formation of our identity as a Brazilian Church and that our experience, mistakes and successes, can help the Church of God present in other countries.
