Time is precious.


I'm a writer and I need to carefully select what I'm going to write.


I want to write about everything, but I just can't. As a lawyer, I need to write legal documents that defend my clients' interests. I need to stick to what is technical and useful for the process. Just it.


I want to write about the history of the Church of God in Brazil, but I don't have time for everything, so why would I dedicate myself to the past?


For now, I will devote what little time I have to writing about the present and future of the Church in our country.


And about the present time I have the following news: from January 2022 the Church of God in Brazil gained a full-time pastor.


Until last year I was a lawyer and university professor who in his spare time served as pastor of the Church. From now on, this situation is reversed. I will serve as a full-time pastor and in my spare time I will teach and monitor a few court cases.


The plan is to bring together as many pastors and local churches as possible in a project that mirrors the work of the Council of Meridian. In other words, the creation of the Publishing House, the organization of an annual congress and, in the future, a faculty of theology.


We do not have the human or financial resources for this project, but we have faith that our great and mighty God can give us the means to accomplish what he has planted in our hearts.

On Saturday morning (12/23), we shared spiritual experiences in Bible school with Pastor Samuel, learning about the perseverance of Joseph (he who was sold as a slave, but who became governor in Egypt). By the grace of our God, the book on Systematic Theology was successfully published. It took three years working on the translation, revision, indexes and publication. We launched a fundraising campaign and had the support of ten local churches. We hired one of the best Christian book publishers who came up with a modern graphic design and printed 300 copies of the book. At this moment 197 copies have already been distributed.
